PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The sandwich self-adhesive polymer waterproofing membrane is a new technological revolution in the field of waterproofing materials. This waterproof membrane is made of high-strength sandwich resin as the base material, and is compounded with a special high-quality self-adhesive adhesive with molecular level bonding technology through a special process. It can achieve perfect molecular level bonding with mortar or concrete base. This product has excellent thermal dimensional stability, strong tensile strength, and resistance to base layer cracking and deformation, overcoming many shortcomings of traditional waterproofing membranes.
CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY
The construction of sandwich polymer self-adhesive waterproofing membrane is simple:
▪ Simple construction: Through molecular level adhesive technology, materials can be overlapped at any construction temperature (above 0 ℃) with simple pressing, achieving a state of mutual fusion between adhesive layers. The construction of coil overlapped edges does not require any technology, only alignment and pressing are needed.
▪ Good adaptability at the grassroots level: The roll material achieves full medium adhesion with its unique molecular adhesive formula. Whether it is a "smooth and dry" base surface or a "damp and rough" base surface, construction methods such as self-adhesive construction, wet laying construction, or pre laying construction can be used accordingly. Regardless of which construction method is used, it can achieve a long-lasting bonding effect between the roll material and the base layer, and prevent the occurrence of "water leakage".
▪ Wet laying construction: Through unique processing techniques, the material achieves direct bonding between the overlapping edge adhesive layer and the adhesive layer during the wet laying construction of the waterproof layer, abandoning the traditional feature of using cement slurry to bond the overlapping edges of wet laying rolls. Make it form a fully sealed waterproof system to avoid the failure of wet laying of the waterproof layer caused by sudden rainfall or high construction environment temperature (water vapor generated by the rise of cement slurry temperature, which separates the waterproof material base layer) during the wet laying process of traditional wet laying rolls. The rolls can be sprayed and cooled on the already constructed waterproof layer.
▪ Good grassroots fission resistance: Its strong tensile "sandwich" resin tire base has a tensile strength of over 180MPa. When the base layer cracks and deforms, its super strong tensile strength can cause the adhesive layer of the material to move within a certain range of tension, increase the tensile cross-sectional area, and ensure the integrity of the waterproof layer.
▪ Good resistance to root puncture: In the construction planting system, its super strong tensile "sandwich" resin base can resist the damage caused by roots. Due to the complete integration of materials and structural layers, an interface is formed where the root system cannot survive, resulting in a significant physical root blocking effect. In addition, chemical root inhibitors can be added to its self-adhesive to achieve a dual effect of physical and chemical root inhibition.
▪ Good durability: The ultra strong tensile "sandwich" resin tire base itself has good waterproof and anti-seepage functions, and does not undergo any harmful chemical reactions with molecular adhesives. The position of the "sandwich" resin tire base is not affected by oxygen and ultraviolet environmental erosion.
The difference between sandwich self-adhesive and other self-adhesive rolls
Traditional self-adhesive roll and wet laid roll self-adhesive adhesive layer:
▪ Ordinary self-adhesive rolls have poor adhesion temperature performance. When the temperature is below 25 degrees, the adhesion performance between the adhesive layers is poor, and direct bonding cannot achieve waterproof effect. Therefore, ordinary self-adhesive rolls still use flame spray heating in actual construction operations. The waterproof disadvantage is the same as SBS - it is difficult to achieve a fully burned and fused sealing state with overlapping edges. The construction is complex and prone to leakage and breakage points. The waterproof safety of the overlapping edge is poor, and it does not have the characteristic of simple construction of self-adhesive rolls. In addition, traditional self-adhesive rolls cannot achieve a fully bonded state with the base layer, and the waterproof layer is prone to water leakage and seepage problems.
▪ On the basis of self-adhesive rolls, the original construction method has been changed. The manufacturer has introduced wet laid rolls, which use cement slurry as the bonding medium between the rolls and the base layer to achieve full adhesion between the rolls and the base layer. However, the problem of poor adhesion temperature characteristics between the adhesive layers of wet laid rolls has not been solved. Therefore, cement slurry is still used as the bonding medium for the overlapping edge construction of wet laid rolls. Cement slurry less than 1mm at the overlapping edge is prone to damage, causing the material overlapping edge to lose its original waterproof effect. The waterproof foundation of wet laid roll material is the full adhesion between the material and the base layer, forming a non water leakage structure integrated with the structure, achieving the purpose of waterproofing. When wet laying fails, waterproofing is considered a failure. The reason for the failure of traditional wet laying rolls to wet laying is
(1) The sudden rainfall during the construction process caused the cement slurry at the overlapping edge to melt, and rainwater entered the material base through the overlapping edge, diluting the cement slurry between the material and the base, resulting in wet laying failure.
(2) The high temperature during the construction process resulted in the failure of wet paving. The excessively high temperature during the construction process caused the evaporation of water in the cement slurry between the material and the base layer, and the water vapor formed an isolation layer between the material and the cement slurry.
▪ The tire base of ordinary wet laid rolls is traditionally made of cross film or PET material as the skeleton (tire base). The cross film, with its high elongation, is based on the principle of resistance to cracking and fracture of the base layer, and is prone to fatigue fracture and leakage at the base layer cracks. PET, due to its insufficient tensile strength and poor elongation, is prone to direct breakage at the base layer fission site, resulting in leakage.
