PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Modified asphalt waterproofing membrane for roads and bridges is a flexible sheet waterproofing material made of polyester felt as the base material, styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) thermoplastic elastomer, random polypropylene or random polyolefin (APP) plastic as the modifier, and insulation materials such as polyethylene film, fine sand or mineral granules covering both sides.
PRODUCT FEATURES
▪ Having all the features of APP/SBS.
▪ It has high heat resistance and good high-temperature shear resistance, which can ensure that the waterproof layer is not damaged during the paving of high-temperature asphalt concrete.
▪ Strong resistance to abrasion, able to withstand the puncture of equipment and granular materials during construction.
▪ High tensile strength, high elongation, and high bond strength with concrete.
▪ No foaming or layering, good impermeability, able to withstand the repeated effects of driving and dynamic water pressure.
▪ The acid, alkali, and salt resistance are not affected by freeze-thaw cycles.
▪ Good aging resistance and fatigue resistance.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Self adhesive, SBS, and APP type I rolls are mainly used for paving asphalt concrete. APP II type roll material is mainly used for the paving of poured asphalt concrete mixtures.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
▪ During storage and transportation, products of different types and specifications should be stored separately and not mixed together. Avoid direct sunlight and rain, and pay attention to ventilation.
▪ Hot melt or hot melt adhesive waterproofing membranes should be placed vertically below 50 ℃, with a height not exceeding two layers.
▪ The self-adhesive waterproofing membrane can only be placed in a single layer vertically, and can be placed flat when boxed. The height should not exceed five floors.
▪ Under normal transportation and storage conditions, the storage period shall be at least one year from the date of production
