The polymer polyethylene polypropylene root puncture resistant waterproof roll is a special waterproof roll made of modified synthetic polymer resin waterproof core layer as the main root puncture resistant waterproof layer, high-strength and high toughness filament fiber fabric as the reinforcement layer, chemical root inhibitors added, and a one-time composite process. MATTERS NEEDING ATTENTION
▪ There should be no standing water at the grassroots level.
▪ When applying waterproof cement adhesive, do not block floor drains and pipelines.
▪ The laying of rolls should be smooth, flat, without warping or folding, and firmly adhered.
▪ The roll material should be placed in a ventilated and dry place, avoiding rain, sun exposure, prohibited from contact with acids, alkalis, oils, and organic solvents, and isolated from heat sources.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Suitable for planting roofs, rooftop gardens, garage roofs, and building roofs that require greening. Due to its excellent acid, alkali, and salt resistance, it is more suitable for root piercing planting systems in coastal areas or projects with corrosion resistance requirements.
CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY
▪ Base cleaning: Clean up the dust, debris, etc. on the surface of the base. The dry base should be moistened with water in advance, but there should be no residual water accumulation;
▪ Modulation of root puncture resistant polypropylene rubber material
Rubber powder: cement: water ratio of 1:50: (20-25). When preparing, first pour cold water into the bucket, start the mixer and pour in the rubber powder while stirring. Stir for 1-2 minutes to become the glue. Then add cement while mixing, and mix until there is no clot, sediment or foam;
▪ Complex part processing
Apply additional layer treatment to weak areas such as pipelines, floor drains, internal and external corners, and entrances and exits that are prone to water seepage. Before laying on each part, check whether the base layer is dry. If it is dry, sprinkle water to moisten it at any time. When there is no visible water, sprinkle the prepared cement adhesive in a small container on the surface of the cut roll material, and then spread the base layer cement adhesive along with the laying of the roll material.
▪ Laying root puncture resistant polypropylene waterproofing membrane
Before the construction of the main waterproof layer, the construction site must be thoroughly cleaned. The composite waterproof membrane should be pre laid on the base layer as required, then rolled up and coated with adhesive while laying the membrane. The surface of the membrane should be pushed twice with a scraper. Squeeze and exhaust the adhesive surface to remove excess cement adhesive. After the roll material is laid, a dedicated person should be assigned to handle the lap joint, and the joint width within 80mm should be firmly bonded with adhesive. The root puncture resistant roll material should be laid in two layers.
▪ Closing treatment, the closing area is sealed with cement glue.
