PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Polymer cement waterproof coating is a two-component waterproof coating composed of synthetic polymer lotion (such as polyacrylate, polyvinyl acetate, styrene butadiene rubber lotion, etc.) and various additives, liquid materials and matching powders (composed of special cement, quartz powder and various additives). It is a waterproof material with high elasticity of synthetic polymer materials and good durability of inorganic materials.
PRODUCT FEATURES
▪ Environmentally friendly products, odorless water-based, easy to construct, widely applicable, and have obvious advantages in the construction of complex parts.
▪ After curing, a seamless and complete elastic waterproof layer is formed, which improves the waterproof and anti-seepage ability of construction projects, which cannot be achieved by roll products.
▪ The coating has high strength and extensibility, and has strong adaptability to cracking or expansion of the base layer.
▪ Easy to repair, only partial repair of the damaged area is needed to achieve the original waterproof effect.
▪ This product has bright colors and can play a decorative and beautifying role. It does not have strict requirements for the moisture content of the base layer, and can be applied to damp surfaces.
CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY
The mixing method of polymer cement waterproof coating is to first pour the liquid material and water into a mixing bucket, and slowly add the powder material into it while continuously stirring with a handheld mixer. Stir for at least 5 minutes, thoroughly mix and form a slurry without lumps.
Additional waterproof layer for details - according to the design requirements, sealing materials should be filled in the reserved grooves, and multiple coats (2-4 times) should be applied to details such as internal and external corners and pipe roots. For underground engineering, a layer of tire reinforcement material should be sandwiched.
Construction of large waterproof layer - The waterproof coating should be applied multiple times, preferably at least four times, with a general interval of 8 hours between each application. It is recommended to extend the coating time in winter. The recommended thickness for each coating is 0.40.5mm, with a coating dosage of about 1.5kg/m2. It is not advisable to make it too thick in one coat. For facade construction, it is advisable to not add water or add too little water to prevent the coating from flowing and making it difficult for the facade thickness to reach the design thickness. At the same time, it may cause excessive accumulation of material at the internal and external corners, resulting in cracks. When adding reinforcing materials to the tire body, the tire body should be flat without wrinkles or folds, and the overlap should not be less than 100mm. During construction, the coating should be applied first, and after laying, the coating should be applied again on top.
