Waterborne 951 polyurethane waterproof coating is a reactive moisture cured polymer waterproof coating with a wide range of applications. It is commonly used in waterproofing projects in bathrooms and kitchens, and is suitable for daily waterproof decoration in households.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Suitable for general waterproofing projects such as roofs, color steel tiles, basements, civil air defense projects, kitchens and bathrooms, culverts, tunnels, bridges, water tanks, etc. It can also be used for anti-corrosion of metal pipelines, workshop floors, water tanks and other projects, as well as bonding of wooden floors, cement boards, asbestos products, fiberglass products, ceramic products, floor tiles, etc. It can also be used as a joint material for building structures.
CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY
▪ The grassroots should be flat, clean, solid, free of visible water, dust, and sanding; The yin-yang angle should be made into a circular arc shape.
▪ Uneven and cracked areas need to be leveled first, and leakage areas need to be sealed first. Strengthening layer treatment should be applied to areas such as yin-yang corners and deformation joints; The painting sequence is generally to start with the corners of the interior and exterior, followed by the hanging surface, and then proceed with large-scale construction.
▪ Coating application: The construction can be carried out by rolling, coating, scraping, and brushing. It is advisable to use the thin layer multiple coating method. Each coating should not be too thick, and there should be no missed brushing, bulging, layering, or other phenomena. The coating thickness meets the design requirements. The drying time of the coating at room temperature is about 8 hours, and the interval between each coating is based on non stick to the hand. Generally, 2-3 coats are applied, with a recommended dosage of 2kg/m ² and a thickness of about 1.5mm.
