Butyl rubber self-adhesive waterproof tape (hereinafter referred to as self-adhesive tape) is a self-adhesive waterproof, anti-corrosion, and leak-sealing product made from synthetic polymer butyl rubber, high polymer SBS, and road-specific asphalt, supplemented with various chemical agents such as tackifiers, anti-aging agents, preservatives, rust inhibitors, and acid-alkali resisters. The base of the self-adhesive tape is divided into two types: with and without a base. The reinforced base is a high-strength base fabric, with aluminum foil, HDPE film, etc. as the surface covering material, and the bottom surface is a non-stick isolation film. It is a self-adhesive waterproof, anti-corrosion, and leak-sealing tape product produced through special processes.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Butyl self-adhesive waterproof tape is widely used in color steel buildings (overlapping joints, gutters, fan roots, fasteners, ridges, etc.), overlapping joints and cracks of old waterproof layers, reinforcement of overlapping edges of polymer waterproof materials, cracks on concrete roofs, glass curtain walls, roads and bridges, sealing of ship cabins/grain silos, pipeline corrosion prevention, and other waterproof and anticorrosion sealing and leakage stopping projects. It can be used in conjunction with various waterproof materials to enhance the waterproof layer.
