PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Polymer modified asphalt waterproof coating is a water-based and environmentally friendly waterproof coating produced by scientifically formulating petroleum asphalt as the base material, high-quality rubber as the modifier, and polymer additives. This product can be cold applied on damp substrates, and the rubber polymer is distributed in a network in the coating system. After drying, the coating has excellent acid resistance, alkali resistance, and weather resistance. A seamless overall waterproof layer can be formed on the waterproof base, making construction simple and fast.
PRODUCT FEATURES
▪ Due to the temperature and mechanical effects of high polymers, asphalt enters its three-dimensional network structure and becomes an organic polymer elastomer, greatly improving the performance of asphalt and endowing the product with rubber characteristics.
▪ Easy to construct, widely applicable, and has obvious advantages in the construction of complex parts.
▪ Easy to repair, only partial repair of the damaged area is needed to achieve the original waterproof effect.
▪ After curing, a seamless and complete elastic waterproof layer is formed, which improves the waterproof and anti-seepage ability of construction projects, which cannot be achieved by roll products.
CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY
Waterproof coating construction
▪ Coating Primer: Apply the coating material evenly on the surface of the base layer, without stacking or exposing the white bottom. The recommended coating amount is 0.2-0.3kg/m2. The primer should be cured for more than 5 hours before proceeding to the next process of construction.
▪ Waterproof coating construction: The coating material should be applied in small amounts multiple times to ensure uniform coating thickness and reduce air bubbles. The recommended coating amount is 0.4-0.5kg/m2, with a thickness of approximately 0.4-0.5mm. After the first coat of film is applied, it generally needs to be cured for more than 5 hours until it is almost non sticky to the touch, and then the second coat of film is applied vertically. Fiber non-woven fabric should be laid at the inner corner of the connection between the bottom plate and the wall for reinforcement treatment. Pipelines, equipment foundations, and around floor drains, as well as the internal and external corners of the ground, should be reinforced with painting. Walls within 30 centimeters of the ground should be coated with a film and painted 3-4 times. It is advisable to apply 2-3 coats of paint to the flat base layer. According to national standards, a waterproof coating thickness of no less than 2mm is considered qualified.
